About Spotlight On Law 2 Wrongful Convictions: Both sides of the story

both sides 1

This is a blog about legal issues with opinions by law students and graduates, and those who are interested in the law. Our subject is murder cases in the context of whether mistakes were made, leading to a possible wrongful conviction. We research cases purported to be wrongful convictions to try to come to an opinion and in doing so we attempt to bring you both sides of the story

This is a blog where we look at past murder cases to research them and see if claims that there was a wrongful conviction has a basis in fact. If we believe there is any reasonable possibility that the case could be a wrongful conviction, we will give that opinion and explain why we feel that way.

If after examining both sides, we are firmly convinced that the defendant / convict is guilty as charged, we will give that opinion, Ultimately, you must decide for yourself, but we try to bring divergent information into one place and we give links to the best information that we find.

We will also report on current murder cases and current events relating to crime. There’s a facebook page, where case articles with our research and opinion are published and there’s also a facebook group of people who explore and research these cases together.
